Little Miss Bella is apparently too little?

This is just to let you know about some recent developments w/ our family...

During the last doctor's appt w/ Bella's pediatrician, we discovered that her growth was not progressing as much as it had been at previous visits. So they had to draw blood to run tests, and we had to collect a urine sample (which took forever!) for more tests. Well, the urine tests threw up a flag for high levels of amino acids or something & we had to go back to have more blood drawn for different tests.

Yesterday we heard from our doctor's nurse that the blood test registered about four flags for low levels this time. Our pediatrician decided that we should go see an endocrinologist, and so our nurse was trying to get an appt scheduled for us. However, after the specialist looked at Bella's labs, he decided that we should instead see his wife (who's a geneticist). So now we have an appt scheduled for next Thursday. We'd appreciate your prayers (& are hoping we'll just be told that Bella's just going to be little)!
